Joe ZemblesJoe Zembles is involved in all aspects of EnergyOne business since its inception. He is responsible for all aspects of the company’s day-to-day operations with an initial focus on design, site selection, and construction and marketing for the client companies.
 
Mr. Zembles has an unmatched record and more than 25 years of industry experience in working with ethanol and the power generation industry since the early 80s, initially on energy efficiency and boiler room operations and later as senior developer of ethanol projects. Most recently he worked as Vice President of Ecron Corporation on a full cycle project development for two large ethanol projects in Maryland.

Joe Zembles received his BA and MA Degrees in Administration at Missouri State University.  Joe Zembles began his career as an educator and coach in West Des Moines, Iowa.  Simultaneously, he was working as a tennis professional at Echo Valley Country Club where he earned a national USTA ranking in doubles tennis.

Immediately after his career in education, he entered the transportation industry where he twice received Mack Truck’s Bulldog Club’s national award for outstanding sales efforts.

In 1988 Joe Zembles joined Combustion and Control Engineering (CCE) as Vice-President of Sales in St. Paul, MN.  CCE is an application-engineering firm specializing in energy management in the upper Midwest.  CCE’s primary customers were oil refineries, paper mills, ethanol plants, and grain processing facilities.  CCE provided consulting and systems which enabled its customers to decrease their utility cost and increase productivity.

In 2001 Joe Zembles co founded Pacific Energy Holdings in Santa Monica, CA.  Pacific Energy installed, owned, and operated small cogeneration plants for customers throughout the West.  In 2004, Energy User News named the Pacific Energy project in central California Best Energy Efficient Construction Project.

In 2005 Joe Zembles  joined Ecron to lead the company’s efforts in design, development, construction, and marketing efforts for ethanol facilities and co products.
