 Ron Kolson Mr. Kolson has over 25 years of financial and operations management experience in various industries. He has held senior management positions in several high tech companies, including digital imaging technologies, government services contracting, fiber-optic networking and hospitality information technology. In addition, he also served as a consultant and a member of the Board of Directors of an international hospitality systems provider, including several years as the Chairman of the Audit Committee.During the past several years, Mr. Kolson has been a Vice-President and the Chief Financial Officer of FiberGate, Inc., a provider of high-bandwidth, fiber-optic network infrastructure to corporate and government customers requiring secure high-speed data communications throughout the mid-Atlantic region of the U.S.Mr. Kolson also served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Concentia Digital, Inc., a provider of web-based digital asset and enterprise content management solutions, primarily focused within the medical, research and life sciences areas. He is a co-founder, Director and minority shareholder of the company which began operations in 2006.Prior to joining Concentia Digital, Mr. Kolson served as the Chief Financial Officer for Leading Edge Design and Systems, Inc. (LEDS), a systems engineering firm primarily focused on the needs of the intelligence community in the Washington, DC metropolitan area, including information technology, imaging and multimedia services. In 2000, Mr. Kolson joined DSMCi, a provider of digital asset management solutions for premier commercial clients in the broadcasting, entertainment, and education industries as well as government intelligence agencies, serving as its Chief Financial Officer. He became a member of its Board of Directors and a minority shareholder in the firm. Prior to joining DSMCi, he held several key senior management positions during his fifteen-year career with MICROS Systems, Inc., the world's leading provider of hospitality management systems for the hotel and restaurant industry. Mr. Kolson served as the Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer for seven years, after an earlier tenure as its Chief Financial Officer, during which time MICROS was recognized as the 'Fastest Growing Publicly-Traded Company in America" by Financial World Magazine, one of Forbes Magazine’s best 200 Small Companies in America, and a “Hot Growth” Company by Business Week Magazine. Mr. Kolson began his career in Washington, D.C. as an auditor with Ernst & Ernst and became a Certified Public Accountant in Maryland after graduating from The Pennsylvania State University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting. |
