Cyber security notice for former Energy One employees

In late August 2023, Energy One was the subject of a cyber incident. Energy One has written to current and former employees affected by a data breach we experienced, who may have had their personal information accessed by an outside actor.

Given the challenges of contacting some affected former employees, Energy One is posting this notice as an additional measure to help bring the incident to the attention of former employees. Energy One has also arranged confidential free support services and credit monitoring for affected individuals (noting these services are not available in all regions).

We take the security and integrity of personal information that we hold very seriously. We are disappointed this happened, and we apologise. We have further strengthened our systems and processes since the incident.

Not all former employees have been affected by this incident.  However, we encourage former employees to contact us on privacy@energyone.com as soon as possible to determine if they are affected and so we can advise on steps that can be taken to mitigate the potential risks.
