Last month saw thousands of energy traders, suppliers and market participants visit Messe Essen in Germany for E-world 2023; Europe’s largest energy trade fair. For Energy One, it proved to be the company’s most successful edition yet.
Colleagues from the UK, France, Belgium and Australia came together on a new-look Energy One stand, which was brighter than ever and where the atmosphere was buzzing from morning until night. Team members met with 200+ representatives from over 140 companies during the 3-day event, where conversations flowed, familiar faces were welcomed and new acquaintances were made.
Every minute of every day was packed full of demonstrations, meetings, discussions and more. A particular highlight was the after-hours action, where the first day of the fair concluded with an extremely popular food and drink reception on the stand. At the first sight of a Belgian Duvel beer, the booth became a vibrant hub for networking, nibbles and connections. Add to this Australian and French wines, German beers and British tea, and it made for a night when Energy One’s hospitality was enjoyed by many and everyone left feeling happy.
After each busy day, the team took the opportunity to catch up over a meal at some of the city’s local restaurants to digest the day. These moments are so important in forging strong working relationships.
This year saw Energy One flying the flag for energy trading software and services – literally – thanks to highly prominent advertising inside and outside the venue, ensuring that many of the 25,000 people visiting E-world this year will have had the opportunity to encounter the Energy One name.
From dawn until dusk, team members ensured that visitors to the stand experienced the very best from Energy One. At the end of the three days, we left the event proud to be a strong European brand in the thriving energy trading software and services space.
