Who we are looking for
Due to the ongoing growth of the business, we are looking for a switched-on individual to oversee the day to day running of the trading team based in the Adelaide office.
As the senior member of the team, you will be responsible for supporting the trading room staff to ensure efficient operation and dispatch of electricity assets, oversee the management of 40 plus electricity assets and compliance with the electricity market rules.
Leading the trading team, you will provide technical support and advice, manage the engagement and performance of the team and continually look for more efficient ways to produce better outcomes. The trading room operates 24/7, some out of office hours work will be required including public holidays and weekends.
Ideally you will have:
- Minimum 5 years electricity industry experience
- Electricity market knowledge
- Excellent customer service skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Leadership skills
- Strong analytical skills
- Strong excel skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to lead and motivate a team
- Strong problem solving and decision making skills
- Strong organisational skills
- Tertiary qualifications
