Who we are looking for
Due to the ongoing growth of the business, we are looking for a switched-on individual to join the energy trading division, in particular, gas trading experience will be highly regarded. The individual will need to be self-motivated with a keen interest to learn.
Your skills will revolve around making quick decisions on numbers to make sound commercial recommendations for clients. You must be flexible to work on weekends and some public holidays on a roster, given the coverage required for clients.
Ideally you will have:
- Skills in coding, including Python, Perl, Java, Unix, Bash, C+ or VBA and working with databases will be positively considered. Knowledge of the gas trading market sector would be an advantage
- Tertiary qualifications in one or more of the following disciplines: Economics, Accounting, Finance, and/or Business will be highly regarded
